About Carol
Carol earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University in1986. She is licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. She also graduated from White Mountain Education Association’s 2-year training program on spiritual leadership, highlighting the connection between spirituality and physical, emotional, and mental well being. She has 15 years experience working as a counselor in various settings: a community mental health center, a community college, and private practice. She has facilitated numerous women’s groups.
Carol offers counseling with a broad spiritual perspective. She has 20 years experience in spiritual practice (meditation) and study. Spirituality to her is related to helping clients develop character strengths and virtues such as compassion, courage, gratitude, and forgiveness to deal with life’s challenges.
She believes that each person has a seed of the divine within and that our mission in life is to bloom this seed to the fullest extent possible.
